Autumn / Winter 2026: Out of the Studio

Following a return to exhibiting at Cambridge Open Studios in July, the autumn and winter months bring a welcome opportunity to take Thelermont Hupton out of the studio once again.
After a two-year break from shows, four events are now on the calendar, each taking place in a beautiful setting across Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.
Much of the summer has been spent preparing for the season ahead, developing new ceramic homewares, exploring different forms and materials, and spending time at the potter's wheel. Several new pieces are currently making their way through the studio, with more to share once they've successfully emerged from the kiln.
Alongside familiar Thelermont Hupton designs, the final two events of the year will also see the introduction of a new collection of handmade books and journals.

Anglian Potters at Ickworth House
Saturday 31 October & Sunday 1 November 2026

The autumn programme begins at Ickworth House, with an exhibition alongside fellow members of Anglian Potters in the beautiful surroundings of this National Trust property.
Eddington Arts Autumn Fair

Next is a return to Storey's Field Centre in Eddington, Cambridge, for the Eddington Arts Autumn Fair.
Saffron Walden Christmas Market

Saturday: 9am – 4pm

The first Christmas event of the season takes place closer to home, in the historic Town Hall in Saffron Walden.
This will also be the first opportunity to see the new collection of handmade books and journals alongside a selection of Thelermont Hupton designs.
Audley End House Christmas Market

The final event of the year takes place at the magnificent Audley End House for its three-day Christmas Market.
A selection of established designs, new ceramics and handmade books will be available, with plenty of ideas for Christmas gifting.
